During the summer ABS hosts “Beef Week” and for the last 10 years this celebration has included honoring the top Beef Reps in their respective districts. The ABS Beef Department invites the top Beef Reps from across the United States to participate in Beef Week and Rep Roundtable discussions.

Beef Week kicked off on Sunday evening, July 31, 2011 with a trip to the Madison Mallards baseball game for some fun, socializing and relaxation from the days travels.

Monday morning starts early at ABS Global headquarters in DeForest. The Representatives are asked to prepare a brief presentation on their business and success stories along with options to learn and build from each other.

Monday night the 2011 Honorees received their respective awards while enjoying dinner at Prime Quarter in Madison.

Participants also enjoy the opportunity to tour the ABS facilities including the processing lab, distribution and bulls on display.

Tuesday, August 2, 2011 is always an exciting day for not only Roundtable Honorees but also ABS Global employees. In an effort to say “Thank You” for everyone’s hard work throughout the year, the Beef Department hosts an annual cookout lunch.

The Week ended with a tour and dinner at the Dekorra facilities, where everyone took advantage of the time to relax and socialize while taking in the view from Dekorra.
